| Vitamin C with Rose Hips |

Rose Hips
Rose hips are dried fruit of the rose, the part of a rose that develops once the petals have fallen. They are a natural source of Vitamin C and were used in Britain during World War II to prevent scurvy during a shortage of citrus fruit. In fact, Rose Hips contain substantially more Vitamin C than citrus foods. Rose Hips also have up to 60 times the Vitamin C of citrus fruit as well as containing the bioflavonoids that aid in the absorption of Vitamin C. Rose hips are the highest concentrated herbal source of Vitamin C and contain the entire C complex. In addition to being a major supplier of Vitamin C, Rose Hips are also a rich source of Vitamins A, B complex, D, E, & K, Iron and Calcium.
